Two Brothers. One Dream. Help Them Skate to LA 2028.
Rotorua, Bay Of Plenty
Kia ora, whānau and friends!
We're Dante (16 years old) and Gabriel (14 years old) Temara, two brothers from Rotorua chasing one dream: to represent New Zealand in skateboarding at the LA 2028 Olympic Games.
Right now, we're competing in World Skate qualifying events to earn the points we need to get there. We're putting in the work, we're getting results, and we're proving we belong on that world stage.
But there's one big obstacle: getting to the comps.
This Givealittle page is purely to cover the two biggest costs that stop us from competing:
· ✈️ Flights – Getting us from NZ to World Skate events across the globe
· 🏨 Accommodation – Having a roof over our heads while we're overseas competing
That's it. No extras, no fluff. Every dollar goes directly toward making sure we can show up, compete, and chase those Olympic qualification points.
Why This Matters
We can't earn points if we can't get to the starting line. These qualifying competitions are our only pathway to LA 2028, and we're ready. We've already proven ourselves at the NZ Nationals and international events – we just need the support to keep showing up.
How You Can Help
1. Donate – anything helps cover a night's stay or a leg of the journey
2. Share – spread this page so we can reach more people
3. Cheer us on – your support means the world
We're proud to carry the silver fern, and with your help, we'll get there.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
