Please help our little dog Bazil

  • Bazil is rearing to go!

    Bazil had his final X-ray 6 weeks after his operation, and all looks well. However, the Vet said we must keep him confined for at least another 4 weeks to make sure that his pelvic bone is really strong before he starts to race all over the farm again. Bazil thinks he is ready to run! I would like to say how much we appreciate the help that we have been given by several wonderful donors on Givealittle.

  • Bazil is feeling good

    Bazil had his operation 4 weeks ago and he thinks he is ready to go, but is not allowed to do much yet. He still has to spend at least 5 more weeks in the cage that we have set up for him in our family room. He loves to be with us!! He tried to break out of the cage when we were out one day, so now we have to put him in his outside kennel and run if we are not about!! We can take him for walks on flat ground and he is walking well. He is not allowed to walk on a sloped surface until May! Then after that he should regain his strength and hopefully he will get back to normal living.

  • Bazil is doing well!

    It is now three weeks since Bazil had his operation, and he is doing very well. We can walk him for up to 10 minutes 3 times a day, but he can not do any more until about 1st May. He still had 5 to 9 more weeks in his cage..
