Help our NZ Papuan Students complete their studies. By donating towards their student fees and living expenses

34 Students from West Papua, who are currently studying in New Zealand, urgently need your support.

They need urgent help with their student fees and living expenses. So they can complete their education.

Because their funding and scholarships were suddenly cancelled by their Government.

West Papua is a developing nation, located next to Papua New Guinea, in the western Pacific ocean.

Most of the indigenous West Papuan students come from low-income rural communities.

Their families and provinces are looking forward to their completing their education, and returning.

Once qualified, the Students will make an enormous positive impact, in the continual development of West Papua.

This will uplift their families and communities, and greatly improve the well-being of Papuan people.

Please help our Students, and give generously. All proceeds will go to the Papuan Students Association of Oceania.

Laurens Ikinia, one of the affected students, says :

“We don’t see that there will be a good future when the concerned students will go home without their qualifications. Most of the students come from low-income families. Even some parents cannot afford to send their children to pursue education up to tertiary level."
