Help some young woman compete in the 2022 Maadi cup doing what they love.

Dunedin, Otago

We are young women from a low decile school who are part of a small rowing squad of four. We are looking for some funds to be put towards accommodation, transport fees and race entry fee's for the Maadi Cup 2022. We are a small squad of 4 punching well above our weight, two of our rowers with the title of National Champions in the Women's Intermediate Eight and also getting Silver in the U17 pair at South Island Secondary Schools. Being a small squad of four fundraising opportunities are difficult in a sport where expenses are very high. Maadi cup is a National Schools event that thousands of school aged rowers attended, We have never had the opportunity to go to a Maadi Cup because of Covid-19 and the cost being to high. Our proposal is to hopefully achieve $2000 that will go towards helping the rowers and parents afford these expenses.
