    I am so happy that I'm able to ask for an extension of Owen's page, as this means that our little Warrior is still fighting the brave fight. In all honesty, 6 months ago we didn't think that Owen would still be with us and I'm so thrilled to say that he's doing really well and we're looking forward to a great Christmas. There are still scary moments and times when it's not looking great, but he is a champ and pushes through each time and we couldn't be more proud of him.

      Hi, I am Owen's Mum, Annie. Just a little update. Towards the end of July the decision was made between ourselves and Owens Cardiologist to take Owen off the 3rd PH drug that he had started in April. As it was doing more harm than good. Although it was working on his lungs the added stress on his heart was horrible. As well as all the side effects of the drug. Owen wasn't coping very well and we all were very stressed as a family. So over the next few weeks we slowly reduced the amount of the drug he was getting and in August we went into Starship and he had the PICC line removed. The change in Owen since coming off the drug has been amazing. He is back to his cheeky self. Showing an interest in things again. As well as playing with his brothers. We are still uncertain of the time we have with Owen so we are making the most of every day. Thank you all who have donated. We have enjoyed spending a week down in Rotoura at the Ronald McDonald Family Retreat. Owen has had a couple of rides in Fire Trucks and a police car. We have been overwhelmed with the support we have been shown. Thank you.
