Help Pearl receive the TPLO surgery she needs to walk comfortably and get back to the life she loves.
Auckland
Pearl is our beautiful, much-loved girl and a huge part of our family. Now six years old, we adopted her from the SPCA when she was just eight months old, and she has been by our side ever since.
She’s a big, gentle girl who loves her walks, exploring, being with her people and spending time with the dogs she loves. Unfortunately, right now Pearl can’t enjoy life the way she normally does.
Pearl developed a partial tear of her cranial cruciate ligament (CCL), which has now progressed to a complete rupture. Her knee is unstable, and she desperately needs surgery to give her the chance to be comfortable again.
We were referred to an orthopaedic specialist where surgery would cost around $8,000. We also have the option of having her TPLO performed by an experienced orthopaedic surgeon at Lynfield Veterinary Hospital for approximately $5,000, which is the option we are hoping to proceed with.
As a single mum, I simply don’t have the money available right now to cover such a large, unexpected expense, which is why I’m reaching out for a little help to get Pearl the surgery she desperately needs.
Our goal is to raise $5,000. Whether it’s $5, $10, $20, or simply sharing Pearl’s page, every bit of support means so much.
We just want to see our beautiful girl comfortable again and able to enjoy her life without pain.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping Pearl.
All funds raised will go towards Pearl’s TPLO surgery, giving her the best chance to get back to enjoying a happy, comfortable life.
