HELP Peeti fight lung cancer with Immunotherapy that is not yet Government funded

Our mother has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, and her best chance of fighting this is with a treatment called "immunotherapy". This is not yet Government funded (go figure), so it is now up to us her whanau/family to find the money she needs. This comes at a huge cost of $6,000 per treatment, every 3 weeks and the drug company will not consider subsidising it, until she's spent at least $60,000.

Mum has just finished radiotherapy treatment this week to shrink/stop the lymph nodes from growing, before starting chemotherapy in coming weeks. It is our hope that she will be able to receive the "immunotherapy" treatment at the same time to give her a better fighting chance.

Our mum Betty (Peeti) is the matriarch (pou) of our family (whanau) and has always been there to support us throughout our lives. We would like her to be around for many years to enjoy our children/grandchildren growing up.
