My name is Pj, I’m a queer, trans artist from Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa. And I’m reaching out for help to achieve the next step in my transition.

For those of you who have met me in person, you’ll know I’m not shy, or ashamed of my identity. For those of you who may have not - I have always been proudly queer, and representing and creating safe environments for other queer, gender diverse folks has always been my number one priority.

Being queer has saved my live, accepting my trans-ness has saved my life. While asking for help doesn’t come naturally to me, I am grateful for any support I can receive.

I have reached a stage in my life and transition where I am excited to begin actually living my life according to how feels the most comfortable for me. Top surgery has been a goal of mine for as long as I can remember, however the costs involved have limited my capacity to reach it.

I’ve been saving consistently for few years now, However I am reaching out for help to make this a reality for me.

The total cost of my surgery is $29,500.

I’m looking to raise funds for the 6 weeks off of work required for recovery. As well as hopefully mitigate some of the costs of the surgery itself.
