Help replace our local Waterloo community’s defibrillator - it could save someone's life.
Waterloo, Lower Hutt
Defibrillator's save lives – please help us replace ours. 10 years ago the Waterloo School Parent’s Association fundraised to have a defibrillator installed at our school, and this has provided peace of mind for both our school and local community. Unfortunately after it’s last service by the Wellington Free Ambulance we were told it needs to be replaced – so we need your help to raise $2,800 to make this happen!
A defibrillator will substantially increase a person’s chance of survival if they are having a cardiac arrest by restoring the heart's beating if the heart suddenly stops. Anyone in our community could need this help at any time – so we need to be prepared and have the best chance of ensuring survival from having a cardiac arrest. Therefore, the Waterloo School Parents Association are requesting the support of our school and local community to raise funds to purchase a replacement defibrillator positioned at Waterloo School.
Any support you can offer will help us to reach our target of $2,800 – every dollar will help this really important cause.
