Ashleigh Strawn has been given the amazing opportunity to train in Russia from the 9th of June followed by competing in Italy.

Bay of Plenty

Hi my name is Ashleigh Strawn, I am 12 years old and attend otumoetai intermediate.

I travel to Auckland once a week to train with some of the best rhythmic gymnastics coaches in New Zealand. I have been doing rhythmic gymnastics since I was 7 years old.

I have been given the most amazing opportunity by one of the coaches to attend a training camp in Russia with some top coaches, followed by a competition in Italy.

This trip won't be cheap and I would like to help my mum and dad by getting donations to help with the cost of going.

Thank you!😗

I would like to thank everyone that has donated so far. We got our visas for Russia. It's getting very exciting as I leave on Tuesday morning for Russia via south Korea. I had my first competition in Auckland last weekend - a good warm up. I finished 15th in rope the others not so good. I will let everyone know how I go in my competition in italy. Thank you once again.

Ashleigh
