Help Robyn to swim to AIMS 2025 (Tauranga)

    Robyn (& I) arrived in Tauranga on Friday night. So far she has swum 7 (out of 12) races - with yesterday (Sundays) 200 backstroke being the highlight so far! In her 200 back she took 18secs off her time and placed 9th overall in NZ for her age group (she was seeded 27th!), and for which she gets a top ten finalist ribbon! . She has had another 5 pbs and another 3 top 20 placing! Five more races to go! Thanks for everyone’s support!

  • Swimming back again!

    Robyn has more than smashed her total! Last update about 6weeks ago she had just surpassed her goal of 219km (219,000m) and 6weeks later (even with a week of sickness & a few ‘recovery sessions’) she has added another 82km (82,000m), meaning she is now over 300km (300,000m)! With 2 weeks to go until we set off for AIMS, she will likely have managed to swim not only the distance there, but probably at least half of the way back again!

    Robyn is so excited to go to AIMS again this year, and is so thankful for all the help & support you have shown her!!! Thank you all very much!!!

  • She’s Done It!

    With just over 8 weeks until she goes to AIMS Games 2025 Robyn has smashed her goal of 219km (219,000m)! This week she hit 219.35km (219,350m). She is currently swimming approx. 12-15km a week, so it is likely that by the time she goes to AIMS (at the end of August) she will be somewhere between 310-340km!!!

  • Not much further to go!

    With another 54km under her belt in the last 3 weeks Robyn is smashing her total! She has now swam 161,350m / 161.35km with just over 57km to go until she reaches her target of 219,000m / 219km! Keep on swimming Robyn!!!

  • She is almost half way!!!

    It has been a couple of weeks since the last update but Robyn is continuing to rack up the meters & km’s! To date she has swam almost half way (of the full 219km) currently sitting at 107,350m (107.25km) - and the continued donations, which have now also reached more than 1/2 the target, continue to keep her motivated and on track! Thank you for all the support so far, it really is appreciated!

  • More meters

    We are so thankful for all the support given to Robyn’s sponsored swim so far, your support is very much appreciated.

    By the end of last week (11 April) Robyn had swam just over 40km - 40.1km/40100m, we are waiting on the distances from this week to add, but know it is already over 50km, with 4mths to go - she is smashing it!

    So far our little fish has swam 26.1km (26100m) towards her total of 219km (219,000m).
