Help Rosie get the surgery she needs

My name's Roliza and my dog-child is called Rosie, she is my best buddy and I love her very much - as do most people who meet her! We rescued her from the Napier SPCA about 5 years ago now. She is full of beans and gets treated like an absolute princess and is definitely living her best life! Unfortunately Rosie has ruptured/torn her cruciate ligament (the same as an ACL in humans) and is needing a surgical repair to prevent pain and discomfort now and as she ages. I am currently studying vet nursing as well as needing life changing surgery myself, so needless to say my bank account is pretty well empty a lot of the time. I do not have the energy or capacity to work and study at the moment given my current health.

I know times are tough and people are feeling the pinch of inflation which makes asking for handouts even harder for me but I just cannot bear seeing her in pain so this is my last resort.

I have been quoted $2500 for the surgery through Vet Services and have already forked out 550$ for diagnostic imaging and appointments.
