Firstly thank you so much for all your donations. We are beyond thankful for everyone’s support, it’s been unbelievable.

Ross has been doing really well, especially in the last couple of weeks. His progression is nothing short of amazing. He is in Tauranga hospital in the stroke rehab ward and has a wonderful team of people caring for him: physios, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, dieticians, and of course doctors, nurses, and health aids. Ross is slowly getting the use of his right side back and is clearer in his mind every day that passes. He is not completely there yet but it’s looking pretty positive that it will all come back. Again, amazing.

Ross will stay in Tauranga hospital until the medical team feel he is able to come home. He also needs to have one more surgery at Waikato hospital to replace the missing part of his skull. He has seen his boys quite a few times but we of course can’t wait for the day he can come home and we can get back to a little bit of our usual life.

Once again thank you so much. This journey has been horrific and is still ongoing but your donations and support mean the world to us and have made it all a bit easier.

    Jackie xx
