Hi Ruby,
Without knowing the full details of your medicalbio/history, mydaughter has had a similar experience with GP since 2016.
We did go down the mainstream medical route without much success. We opted to try the holistic approach and without going into all the details, this is working for my daughter. We were very fortunate to have found an excellent natural therapist in London. She has made very good progress and continues to Respond very positively to this form of treatment.
I know the holistic approach is not for everyone but if your doctors have no more to offer to get you back to good health, perhaps it is worth considering .
I do believe that the body has the capacity to heal itself given the right conditions to help it heal.I accept that it does take time and this belief has also been confirmed by a good friend/doctor of mine.
I wish you all the best in your journey to recover your health and live the life you deserve.
Regards,
Christine Coll

Hello
I'm very sorry I am not able to donate but I may be able to help.
I've suffered with chronic pancreatitis and chronic cholangitis for the last 7 years. I too was unable to eat and absorb nutrients. The only drugs available to me during this time were opioids.
Recently I visited a pain clinic and was prescribed a medication called Neurontin which is for neuropathic/nerve pain. Neither my Doctor, Specialist or Surgeon ever thought that this medication can work for me. it is not a narcotic, not an opioid, does not cause any side effects. Within two weeks of taking 100mg in the morning and 100mg at night the pain stopped and I can eat and I seem to be digesting well. In Australia 100 capsules only costs $17.00.
I hope it is not too late for you to trial this medication and I wish you my sincere best of luck or a recovery and a the normal future you deserve to have.
Best Regards,
Kevin

Hi Ruby, I'm 24, been suffering from severe gastroparesis for 2 years following a gallbladder removal, and have recently stopped all medical intervention due to also exhausting my options and gone down the holistic route - not for everyone but I found out through a blood cell analysis that the paresis seemed to be caused by high levels of yeast in my blood. Since trying to correct these levels in the last two months, my symptoms are beginning to improve. Hopefully this proves helpful to you/ anyone suffering with GP. Keep fighting x

I know it says you have tried everything but I have to ask if Ruby has tried feeding into the jejunum? The tube by passes the stomach. I am sure that she has but it’s worth a shot asking. Also Maxalon and erythromycin helps gastric emptying so this is worth a try too, ask the dietitian about it. I know feeding into the jejunum won’t cure the gastroparesis but lots of people can live with a PEJ (button feeding directly into the jejunum). Best of luck and hope you find answers.
