Help Sala Fight for Her Future

Sala is only 24 years old and facing a battle no one her age should have to fight. What began as sudden pain and discomfort turned into devastating news: she has a severe form of ovarian cancer that requires urgent, specialised surgery.

Doctors have been clear this surgery is not optional. It is her best chance at treatment and recovery. But the cost is overwhelming, with a minimum $30,000, and time is not on her side.

Despite everything, Sala has shown incredible strength. She is surrounded by love, holding onto hope, and doing everything she can to keep going through the fear and uncertainty. Right now, she needs help to access the treatment that could save her life.

Because Sala is a Fijian citizen, she is not currently entitled to publicly funded healthcare in New Zealand, despite all of her family living here and her ongoing efforts to obtain residency. This means every blood test, scan, and ongoing medical treatment comes at a significant cost.
