Help Sammy from The Parlour rebuild after her business caught fire

Help Sammy and her team rise like a phoenix from the ashes

Sammy is a single mum with 4 kids at home.

The massage and beauty therapy studio she set up in October 2023 The Parlour, has been damaged by a fire. Without the money to replace the things that were destroyed and the income lost, we’re hoping to get some funds together so she can continue to work and grow the business to support her family and create the healing space she set out to do, to nurture the community and visitors to Raglan.

Unfortunately Sammy didn’t have insurance so is out of pocket all the damage that took place.

If you know Sammy you know she’s a genuine person, who gives without hesitation and is a solid member of the community. She doesn’t like to ask for help so we’re asking for her.

In the fire, all the beauty therapy equipment was lost, electronics, some furniture, art work and soft furnishings and all the products used for beauty therapy. While she had a lot of things gifted or second hand, and ideally would like to continue to repurpose items, some things will have to be bought new and it all adds up. .

Thankfully nobody was hurt in the fire but it has left them without equipment and income.

While they try their best to pick up the pieces, and are staying positive and hopeful throughout, a hand up would mean the world to them so they can continue doing what they love for those they love.
