Help Sarah help her children after losing her home in the Auckland floods
Sarah Barrell and her children lost their home in the January floods. Let's help her get her family back on their feet.
Bayview, Auckland
My friend and colleague Sarah Barrell is one of the strongest women I know. She can berth a boat, manage a marina, and rides a mountain bike like a pro.
But losing her Bayview house this week in the Auckland floods has left her scared, shocked and hollow.
Sarah has insurance but there is still a large shortfall.
On her own, Sarah can cope with anything but she has two children, Meredith (12) and Charles (9) to think of.
Sarah wants things to get back to normal for her children as quickly as possible - but there is a lot she needs to do that.
Please help by contributing funds, no matter how big or small, to help Sarah and her children.

Thank you so much for the contributions. Please keep them coming. Sarah needs every little bit she can get. We are going through yet another cyclone here in Auckland but we will keep you updated with Sarah's progress. She was interviewed on tv news recently and did really well.
