Help Sassie Get to the NZ Dog Agility Nationals in Cromwell!

Hi everyone!

I’m Kiana, and this is my amazing dog Sassie 🐾 — my best friend, teammate, and adventure buddy. Together, we’ve spent the last few years competing in dog agility, and it’s become our passion. There’s nothing like the thrill of running a course together, trusting each other completely, and sharing those “we did it!” moments at the finish line.

This year, we have the incredible opportunity to attend the New Zealand Dog Agility Championships(NZDAC) — aka Nationals! It's being held in October in Cromwell, and we’re so excited at the thought of being part of something this special.

But it's a big journey for us. Travelling from Taranaki means crossing on the ferry and making a long road trip down the country, all of which adds up. Between travel costs, accommodation, and entry fees, it's a stretch for us financially.

Every little bit goes directly toward helping us make this dream come true. We’re not just chasing ribbons — we’re chasing joy, connection, and the chance to represent all the love and work we’ve poured into this sport.

If you’ve ever seen a dog’s tail wag with pure happiness just from doing what they love, that’s Sassie every time she steps onto the course. And for me, getting to share that with her is simply the best feeling in the world.
