NSWC Faces Uncertain Future After Funding Cuts. Support us so that we can support vulnerable wahine and their whānau in our community
Glenfield, Auckland
On average 450 vulnerable North Shore wahine and their whānau reach out to us for support. Many of the women we support are experiencing family violence, separation, mental health, poverty and legal issues.
As a result of government cuts, our Contract with Oranga Tamariki for frontline services has been discontinued. This places the future of North Shore Womens Centre and the support and services to women in the community in jeopardy.
Help us to help them
North Shore Women's Centre works with the community's women, most of them living on Auckland's North Shore.
Money raised will contribute towards supporting women and their tamariki living on the North Shore providing them with social work, counselling, helpline and legal advice.
