Help save our little ray of happiness open in Cuba Street!

We've come to the point where asking for help from our community is the only way we'll stay open and continue to share our beautiful store with locals.

Times have been very challenging for us, Covid-19 has caused massive worldwide shipping delays (along with an increase in missing parcels), rising costs, and dramatically reduced foot traffic in and around the CBD. We have dealt with extreme weather events, flooding (this has led to store water leakages and power outages as-well), staff shortages due to illness and little to no rent relief along with rent increases. All of this with the added challenge of running a first time business, has meant that times have become quite tough for our little family.

Debt has been rising as we strive to keep production going to stock our racks and shelves, constantly having to fix damages to the store due to leakages and keep the business running. We are reaching a point where we might have to close our doors if our situation doesn’t improve soon.

Asking for help isn’t exactly a strong point for us but we really love what we've built here and would love to keep it going! We know that times are tough for a lot of people out there, so we wanted to delay doing this for as long as possible, ideally avoiding it entirely. Unfortunately, the time has now come and we really need the community's help and support!
