Winston update for all those following 😊
Winston finally was able to leave vet hospital today and come back to our cattery! ❤️🙏🥰
His kidney blood tests are now normal however now has a uti infection 😢
But... He's playing like a kitten and less moody and more perky so win win!!
He will keep being monitored by myself and vet but his prognosis is alot more optimistic today ❤️❤️❤️
Still in need of donations to cover his vet bills but we're getting close so every penny helps 💵🙏
His toxoplasmosis blood test was negative. He has had more blood tests today and put back on fluids for 3-5 more days to see if that can help flush out toxins in his body.
Today's blood results show some improvement.
However he seems quite moody and was acting like that before he got sick last week so we are unsure of cause for this. 😢
We will assess further in a few days
Thank you for your donations, he is staying at vets so still has ongoing costs 😢
He is sitting up and looking alot brighter than yesterday and eating his food which is huge progress since yesterday.
However we do not yet know the extent of his illness until he is tapered off fluids in a couple of days and more tests done.
By end of the weekend his expenses will be about $500 and with more tests that will climb..
Please share so we can help Winston and hopefully save his life 🙏🥰🐈
We have just had his blood results back and he has toxicity from possibly antifreeze or Lily's which he has possibly got into from a neighbor's house 😢😢. So he currently is in acute renal failure 💔
At this point we are unsure if he will make it and so he will be on fluids all night and with the hospital visit and blood tests it's been a costly day so any donations are greatly appreciated 🙏💵
