  • Shauna’s Final Week of Treatment! 🫶🏻

    Shauna is now in her final week of radiation, the last big hurdle in this chapter. Once this is done, she’ll be focusing on healing and slowly rebuilding her life again. She’ll continue to have scans in the future to monitor how things are going, but we’re feeling hopeful that she’s nearly at the finish line.

    Looking ahead, once she receives the all-clear, the next chapter will be pursuing surrogacy in order to have the family she’s always dreamed of. This journey hasn’t been easy, but her strength has been incredible.

    We can’t thank everyone enough for the love, support, and generosity shown, it’s made such a difference. 💛

      Yay for heading into the final week of Chemo. Your nearly there and soon will have completed that stage and move into the resting, healing and getting stronger stage. I always say after a really hard day the next day is just around the corner.

      You stood in the storm and when the wind did not

  • Shauna’s First Week of Treatment

    Shauna has now started her 5-week course of chemo-radiation. After her first session she was able to enjoy a Subway sandwich! This past week was her very first week, and while she remains in good spirits, she’s beginning to feel some of the mild side effects that come with treatment.

    As always, we would like to express how much gratitude we have for the incredible support, kindness, and generosity. Every message, donation, gift, and gesture of love is so encouraging for Shauna and our family.

    We will update you later into treatment. 🫶🏻

  • IVF Round 2 Complete + Cancer Treatment Update ✨

    We wanted to share a quick but important update on Shauna’s journey so far. Last week Shauna completed her second round of IVF and now has some eggs and embryos and is able to move forward and begin prepping for chemo radiation.

    Coming up next, Shauna has her first radiation prep scan tomorrow (Wednesday), and treatment will soon be under way. The path ahead will be challenging, but your support means more than you know.
