I'd love my wife Stef to be able to seek cancer treatment, so she can continue to care for our 5 month old son.
Canterbury
My 23 year old wife was diagnosed 2 years ago with the early stages of leukemia. 5 months ago we welcomed a beautiful new son in to the world. We are a happy and loving family, and are facing this difficult trial together. We are hopeful that Stef will be able to get better using more natural treatment options, so she can continue to take care of our son and live a full and joyful life.
Our son needs a mother and it's gutting to see my wife hold him knowing that if she doesn't get funding then their time together will be short.
If Stef does not get the treatment she requires, her disease will move into the acute phase in the next few months, and the outcomes for that are extremely poor.
After much research and deliberation, we would like to be able to send Stef to The Hope4Cancer Healing Centre in either Mexico or Thailand. It is an alternative, evidence-based centre. We know that not everyone will understand our desire to follow unconventional treatments, but as a family we are satisfied with this decision for now, and we would be grateful if you choose to support us in this way.
They have offered Stef a promising treatment plan that has a great survival rate.
The treatment will include Intravenous Vitamin C, Intravenous Curcumin, along with other treatments which are growing in popularity in conventional hospitals worldwide.
But because leukemia is one of the more difficult cancers to treat, the cost will be at around $75,000. We have to give it everything we've got to beat it and we will need your help!
We are a young couple and have no means to be able to fund this type of treatment.
Please consider donating. Every little bit will help and would be greatly appreciated.
Stef is still in the chronic phase of her leukemia, and so far strict dietary changes have shown at times a significant drop in blood count levels. However after the birth of our baby, these seem to be climbing again. It is well documented that this type of cancer can be kept at bay by specific natural therapies, and research we have undertaken has given us confidence in making this decision.
I love my wife very much and I would be devastated to see my son grow up without a mother. As I am only an Apprentice we are quickly running out of savings and money for her treatments and supplements. Stef is such a loving and caring woman, and she has many friends, church contacts & family members who love her. Many thanks for your desire to help us in this way.
Cancer treatment in an overseas facility and for more local treatment options. If the goal is not reached all funds will be used for supplements and more local treatments.
Update 20 December 2019
Because of Stefs blood worsening and rising rapidly we decided she would start the chemotherapy alongside her alternative treatments. Our goal is still to send her to Thailand but in the meantime she has to seek treatment here in New Zealand. The amount of money we raised so far is a huge help to get her alternative treatments here in New Zealand. We really appreciate and are so thankful for everyone who donated and will still donate and everyone who is keeping us in their prayers.
We hope the alternative treatments will keep the side effects at bay so that she is able to enjoy her life and take care of our baby boy. We also hope for her numbers to normalize so that in the future she might be able to get off the chemotherapy.
For now we are just praying and hoping for her to regain her health and for the numbers to go down.
