Stefan and his family have lost everything in a house fire. Please consider donating or sharing to help them rebuild and recover.
Auckland
A place filled with memories can be gone in a matter of hours.
Recently, Stefan and his family experienced exactly that. A house fire at their family home in Papakura has destroyed everything they own. While we are incredibly grateful that everyone is safe, the loss is total—clothing, personal belongings, keepsakes, and the place they called home are all gone.
Stefan is someone many of us know as dependable, generous, and supportive. He’s the person who shows up when needed, who puts family first, and who contributes to those around him without asking for anything in return.
In the wake of the fire, they are now facing an overwhelming reality. From the immediate need for basic essentials like clothes and toiletries, to securing temporary accommodation and beginning the long process of rebuilding, every step ahead comes with both emotional and financial strain. Beyond the physical loss, there are irreplaceable items—photos, mementos, and milestones—that cannot be recovered.
This page has been created to give those around Stefan—and the wider community—an opportunity to offer practical support during this difficult time. Contributions will go directly towards helping the family meet urgent needs and begin to rebuild some stability as they navigate what comes next.
If you are able to give, any amount will make a difference. Just as importantly, sharing this page will help extend the support network around them.
Thank you for your support.
