Help Steph & Sally get to the United Nations!

Steph and Sally have been selected to be part of the delegation heading to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in March 2019 in New York.

Being part of this delegation means we have to self-fund the trip, and as we work in retail and hospitality and both have young families, we need your financial help to get there.

We are going because we want to learn about the policies and processes that are working towards development and progress for women internationally. We want to be better informed about what the United Nations are doing for equality and empowerment of women, because we are passionate about these issues but we want to know, understand and do more! When we understand better we can turn our passions into effective response and involvement in solutions.

We are looking forward to meeting women from other UN countries whose stories and lives are similar yet completely different to our own.

We want to be challenged, we want to listen and be informed, we want to be inspired, and we want to get involved in doing something to make a better world for our daughters.

Steph is the founder and director of the BraveGirl charity and through this platform and social media we will be filming and recording our experiences at the UN so that it can be accessible and helpful for all who are interested and like us, want to know more so we can do more.
