    Words from Helen..Had the 5th treatment today, Steve’s sorta feeling old hat at it. Extremely tied and nasty wound on head, we were told it was going to get worse before it gets better. Steve can’t wait for it to all just heal up. Fair to say this nurse is hoping the same.

    Anna here.. As you may know this Give a Little is closing on Friday. You guys have been so generous and this path that Steve is on couldn’t have been made possible without every single one of you so a huge thank you to you all. Xx

  • Give a Little page coming to an end in 10 days time

    Hi Everyone - Steve is doing OK but treatments make him pretty tired. He's due for treatment #5 on the Tuesday 27th January. The generosity of everyone has been amazing and really appreciated by Helen, Steve and George. The hard reality is that we are about 20k short of what we need. This is a last effort to reach out to those that haven't donated yet or can share the page far and wide! Thanks so much everyone. The page will be closed on Jan 31st. Cheers Anna

  • 4th session done!

    Halfway!! Message from Helz-Hey had the 4th infusion yesterday and feeling very average and tired. Still managed to mow the lawn in stages and talk to the animals. Had a great Christmas and NY with family. Took a cool 69 mustang for a spin was orsome, thanks Glenn McHardie.

    Message from Anna- Everyone has been so generous.. it has been amazing. Sharing this Give a Little page is the next best thing you can do apart from donating. People donate even when they don’t know the recipient so if you can please share. We still have 4 treatments to fund

    Message from Helen - As always manages to have a chat and pat of the horse each day. Had the 3rd session today. Tiredness has set is, and head is hot. Not sure if anything is feeling any different. Hopefully will have a scan in January to see what’s happening.

    Thanks for making this happen have a great Chrissy and NY, we will just be around home. HoHoHo

    Apologies for the time between updates but had a technical issue!!! Here's what Helen had to say about the 2nd treatment on 19 November-

    "Well Steve still doing what he loves and yes he crumbed and cooked just as I like it. He had his 2nd immunotherapy treatment today, and not sure if he is feeling any better or different, just a bit more tired. The wounds on his head are getting a bit bigger and causing a lot of discomfort but that was to be expected. Thanks to everyone for making this happen"

    Anna said "I would love this Give a Little page to reach $40,000 so we can comfortably pay for 3 treatments. The initial quote of 95K for the 8 treatments was in reality $103k so 3 treatments is going to cost just under $40,000. It goes without saying but if anyone is yet to donate please do so and please share this page as far and wide as possible. Thanks so much

    Steve had his first immunotherapy treatment today! Fantastic to get it underway so quickly and this couldn’t have been possible without everyone’s generosity. Thanks so much you great people!

    Hi Everyone - On behalf of Helen and Steve a really big thank you to all those people who have donated so far. Your generosity has been unbelievable and very much appreciated. It sounds like Steve has been very humbled by it all.

    This week Steve has had a scan and will be having an MRI in the next few days. It is hoped that he will start treatment in the next week which is fantastic.
