My sister and her two friends lost everything in a house fire, including her beloved dog and best friend Sam.

On Wednesday 15th May I received the news that my older sister Anna, and her two flatmates, Ashleigh and Tiffany, tragically lost their house and all their belongings to a house fire. Devastatingly, Anna's beloved dog, Sam, was unable to be rescued. I know Sam was loved tremendously by so many people and we didn't expect to lose him so suddenly.

The girls have received overwhelming support and generosity so far, but they are still in shock and grieving the loss of our Sam. I've set up this page to take away some of the stress from them and coordinate any donations that will help get the girls back on their feet. Only one of the girls has some insurance but may need some assistance while we wait for this to be sorted. Use of funds

Most of the funds will help Ash and Tiff, who don't have insurance, replace their belongings. A small amount will assist Anna while awaiting her insurance to be sorted. Funds will also be used to get a plaque in memory of Sam to place at his grave site.

Being a pet lover of all sorts and also having a dog at home I can feel your pain at losing your special pet in such circumstances. Hope this helps towards celebrating Sam's life and to help out with losing possessions in the unfortunate fire.
