Help Support Dave’s Scooter Record!

My name is Dave Macleod and since 2010 I have been travelling the world, crossing off items from my bucket list. I’m originally from Canada but have been living in New Zealand since 2013. However, my next adventure is going to take me far away from NZ and push me to my limits. In June, I will fly to Munich, Germany to finalise my preparations to break a world record. Over three months, I will travel more than 20,000 km, through nearly every country in Europe… on a 50 cc scooter! This is all to achieve another item on my bucket list, #47 Set a World Record.

From the moment this idea entered my mind, I have been gripped by this adventure. However, I was not ready for the financial impact that it would have on my life. Between my training in NZ and the cost of the adventure overseas, it will cost more than $75,000. Pile that on top of taking four months off work, and it has become quite a feat just to save for this record attempt. As such, I have created this page to help support my adventure.
