We are fundraising to help us return to study and to mitigate income lost because of COVID-19.
Nationwide
Ella Smith and Fiona Tibbles are two classically trained sopranos whose lives and musical careers overseas have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. We have put together a wonderful concert of renaissance and baroque vocal music, not only to make the most of our time in New Zealand and the chance to perform together again, but also to help us financially.
You can find details about our concert at

We will be recording the concert, so if you would like to attend our concert either in-person or virtually we would love your support!
Ella is currently studying historical voice at the Hochschule für Künste Bremen. Due to the pandemic and related flight cancellations, her brief 3-week holiday turned into a 6-month sojourn in New Zealand, which has meant a delay in her return to study and her career in Germany. She has also lost a lot of her freelance work in Europe due to cancellations.
Since 2019, Fiona has been based in the UK, singing with the choir of Trinity College, Cambridge. The pandemic and the subsequent lockdown in the UK caused freelance opportunities with Polyphony choir, as well as auditions, tours, and recording projects to be cancelled.
The arts are struggling right now. Worldwide we are seeing several professional groups and organisations unable to continue because of the lack of funding and limited (if any) ability for live performance.
We would very much appreciate any amount of money you are able to spare to help us!
Funds will be put towards the costs of study and living.
