Help support Leeroy go to an Elite Rugby Academy,Wales

Kia ora, my name is Leeroy and I’ve been given the opportunity of a lifetime to travel to Cardiff, Wales in September 2025 as part of an Elite Rugby Academy Exchange to Whitchurch High School.

Whitchurch High School is well known for producing rugby greats, and it’s an honour to be selected to represent my school, my team, and my community at an international level.

This exchange is more than just a sports trip, it’s a cultural and personal journey that will help me grow in confidence, leadership, and independence. I’ll get to experience a new culture, meet new people, and could potentially be life changing.

I come from a single-income family. My mum has been doing everything she possibly can to support me, working hard to make sure I don’t miss out on opportunities, even when it’s financially challenging. She’s been helping me fundraise but we simply can’t reach the full amount on our own. That’s why any support through this amazing page would mean so much to us. It would ease the pressure on my mum and help make this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity possible for me.

So far, we’ve done a hangi fundraiser, sausage sizzles, sponsorship raffle, and have more raffle fundraisers on the way, but we still have a long way to go.

Any koha, big or small, will go directly toward helping me reach my goal and live a dream I’ve had for a long time.
