Support and relief funds for families in Tonga

Recently the volcanic explosion of Ha'apai which caused a tsunami has devastated the islands of Tonga. We are raising funds to offer support in every which way we can to the families in need.

All communication has been lost as of Saturday evening and we are waiting for updates on our families safety.

Homes have been destroyed and washed away, we are praying that no lives have been taken.

Please stand with us in this time and lift Tonga up in your prayers.

Our donations are collected by staff and residents in the Village. One of our nurses organised a 'Food Drive' which went very successful and we hope this would provide some relief to the affected people in Tonga. Lots of love and care from Village at the Park.

Praying for the people of Tonga. Keep the faith. God hears prayers and the love of New Zealanders will reach out to you in many forms. Tonga is so blessed that the loss of life was so limited. Things are terrible but could have been utterly devastating. Strong people with brave hearts will thrive and recover. Such are the people of the Pacific. Kia kaha. Arohanui.
