Help to support Vaughan, his wife & 2 girls while he fights to recover from a stroke and the unexpected finances to come the family's way
Blenheim, Marlborough
On Wednesday 11th February, Vaughan suffered a minor stroke and was rushed to the hospital where he's still being looked after now.
The area of his brain that has been damaged is the area that affects his motor control.
There's currently still a lot of swelling on his brain and will be in care for a while to come. Eventually when his brain swelling goes down, due to the impact on his brain he will need to learn not just how to walk again but how to function normally.
At only 36 years old you would never expect such a thing to happen from someone young and healthy so this change in life has understandably had a huge impact on Vaughan's family - especially his wife Monja and their 2 girls Zene and Scarlette.
With all the unexpected and unplanned financial strain they've already had and yet to come, let's come together to show them our support and to help them while they navigate their way through this time.
No matter how big or small, any amount is super helpful and greatly appreciated by the family.
Donations will also go straight into the family's account as well.
Khada and I are very good friends with Vaughan and his family and want to do whatever we can to help support them through this challenging time.
Ambulance fee cover, income support, unpaid leave from work for Monja while she supports Vaughan and the many unknown/unexpected financial strain still to come.
