Auckland based Fabulosity Productions have developed a wonderful new play, which explores gender dysphoria. Wickedly entertaining, Testostrogen offers the audience rare insight into the mindset of a typical transgender person, as they work through the myriad of issues that are presented with the condition.
Fabulosity Productions have just finished a short, and very successful season, at the Pitt St Theatre in Auckland, and we've been asked to take the play to the UK in August 2020, as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. First though, we would like to take Testostrogen on tour through New Zealand. We believe the work, and the themes explored in the story, would be of great value to audiences throughout Aotearoa; particularly the youth audience.
Use of funds
The money raised will support marketing initiatives, accommodation costs and actors salaries.
