At 32, Terri was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer.

Terri will light up a room with her smile, she is a kind-hearted mother of 2 young boys, a wife and a special friend to all. She is gold.

After feeling ill with what she thought was a nasty run of colds, flu's, chest infections, fever and just the every day stresses of being a working mother of 2, she just thought she was burnt out.

Then, she felt a lump on her neck.. She knew something wasn't right and after many trips to the GP's she thought it was time to go the the ED and get checked out. After many tests, scans and biopsies, She was told she had Stage 3 Hodgkins Lymphoma.

This cancer is now in the left side of her neck, her chest and now has traveled to her spleen. She will need to have an intensive 6 months of chemotherapy and possibly radiation afterwards.

Terri and her husband along with her two very active boys age 7 & 3 are absolutely devastated. As you can imagine the financial pain of having to give up work, still be a mother and heal is tough :(

I made this page to help aid her & her family with this journey that they all will have to take together. Every little bit will help!

Terri has been one of best friends for as long as I can remember. My first friend at primary school, right through to now. She is the most generous, kind soul you will ever meet.

I want to ease this journey for her & family as much as possible.

Use of funds

This would be to subsidies cost of living, child care, family support, travel, time off work, food and anything else that her family needs to support her in this fight. If we exceed our target the surplus will continue to go to family for the above reasons

Overwhelming support! 26 June 2021

Hi everyone, on behalf of Terri, family and myself we have been overwhelmed with all your support! It’s been amazing seeing everyone come together in such a short time.

Thank you to all have reached out personally to me and helped with meals and donations, it’s been such a great help. 🥰

Terri goes back in for more chemo on Tuesday so we might get an update then as she’s been in a lot of pain. She’s had a few extra trips to hospital to double check everything, hope to know soon. In the meantime she’s having to take a few extra medications to get through.

Together we are stronger.
