Kia Ora,

On the news last night a friend of the 27 year old who passed away mentioned the baby couldn’t sleep because he was still being breastfed. If he won’t take formula you could try helping the whanau to get in touch with a breast milk bank to supply milk for the baby.

I hope the whanau of all the victims from this tragedy can heal.

Thanks you so much for providing us with this information. The baby is drinking the formula for now, however if the need changes I have managed to find a local milk bank in Palmerston North. Thanks again for getting in touch. We really appreciate the community support. 🙏

Kia ora Karen Association, I just wanted to make sure the families are aware that they can apply to ACC for a funeral grant to assist with the funeral expenses as well. I'm so sorry for your loss. Michelle Greatorex

Thank you Michelle for reaching out. We are working to ensure the families are made aware of all assistance they are able to receive so thank you. Any funds raised will enable the family to not be hindered by additional costs that arise from such a traumatic event and hopefully provide them with additional support as and when required. Often the red tape delays any immediate need. At this stage we continue to focus on finding Mu Mu and helping the family of Blae Ler Paw through the grieving process. Thank you once again for reaching out to help. Bless you
