The situation is still dire in Gaza. So many martyrs and injured in the South. A horrific famine plus more killings in the North of Gaza.

The school where my aunt was taking shelter not long ago, has been struck recently. Many members of her husband's family are now martyrs or badly injured.

Praying for all the martyrs to rest in peace, and for those injured to ease their sufferings and pain.

Worried day and night about my aunt and her family. Still praying for the current war to stop and/or for the borders to open. Every dollar counts!!

My sister, Manar, has kindly started another page dedicated to our cousin Mais Al Reem. Mais just turned 21 years old on the first day of Eid. Her medical studies have halted and we would love to raise enough for her to study abroad.

The funds from this page will go towards rebuilding my aunt's home, or the family leaving Gaza safely.

Please contribute generously towards Mais Al Reems page here

    Thank you in advance.

Keep my aunty Maysoon and her family in your thoughts and prayers 🙏 and please givealittle or a lot 🙏

In disbelief that this is still happening. In disbelief that the gen0c1de continues while our innocent Palestinian human beings are dieing a hundred deaths. My heart goes out to every Palestinian hurting for our Gaza and Palestine. My heart goes out to every human who is feeling for the Palestinians. Everywhere. Kia kaha.

I am thankful and grateful to everyone who has contributed towards this fundraiser for my aunt and her family, mums youngest sister.

Please keep sharing it with any family, friends and colleagues 🙏

I am also thankful to everyone who has asked about khalti (my aunt) Maysoon.

They are just alive. Alhamdullilah. (As of 28th May 2024). In the photo is Azmi who is 7 years old.

PS This was taken before the latest Rafah massacare.

Please keep her, her family and loved ones in your prayers. Keep every Gazan and Palestinian in your prayers. Keep sharing the truth more than ever.

They are all holding on to faith and hope. My family are also hoping our NZ government would grant a special category visa to give them another chance in life. And all your generous contribution will assist them financially 🙏 please keep contributing.

    #GrantTheVisas

May Allah ease their pain, give them justice soon and keep our Gazans and Palestinians safe.

May Allah grant you more than all the good you give.

    Thank you

    Minas Al-Ansari

  • A message from my aunt Maysoon

      25 April 2024

    Maysoon Al-Desouki / mother of 5 people

This war left no one alone...

My beautiful house, which housed my children, was destroyed. It hurts me because I finished building it a few days before the war, and even now I still have to pay its installments.

All my life I had dreamed of building a house that would house me and my children. This dream did not come true except for a few days, then the war came and took everything.

I also took the car that my husband was working on, which is our only source of income.

Because we moved to asylum centers with these huge numbers of people, my children suffer from continuous diseases

My eldest daughter, 21 years old, is a medical student and freelance writer

Hassan, 16 years old, is a skilled swimmer and professional football player

Shehab, 14 years old, memorizes the Qur’an and several books on the Islamic religion

Muhammad, 10 years old, is a skilled swimmer and skilled at horse riding

Azmi, 8 years old, is a skilled swimmer and an expert in raising cats

All my children are distinguished in their academic level

I hope you will help me and donate to rebuild my home, guarantee my children’s talents, protect them, and protect their future

Here is the link for help. Children who have dreams are children of the whole world, and my children are children of the whole world.
