Funding for New Zealand's representatives to the world karting championship
Christchurch, Canterbury
New Zealand has never been represented at the world's biggest rental karting championship, the Sodi World Series. But that changes in 2027, as back-to-back New Zealand champions The Kartel Crew, who are presently fighting for a top 10 in the world rankings, have earned themselves an entry to the SWS endurance world finals.
Alice MacLachlan, Mandela Pluck, Caleb Barr and Jeremy Pluck need your help to fly the New Zealand flag at the world endurance finals for the first time ever.
Alice and Mandela have experience on the world stage, having both competed individually at the KWC world championship, with top 20 finishes in the women's and junior categories. The Kartel Crew also ranked 16th out of several thousand in the 2025 SWS world rankings, but were unable to afford our entry to the world finals this year. In 2026, we are presently running 12th in the SWS world rankings, and targeting a top 10 on our way to the world finals
