A hospitality community coming together, to support one of their best.
Whangarei, Northland
*UPDATE* - 02/03/23 -
Things are looking good for the Quail to fly soon again in the same garden! đ
We want to thank the Hospo4Hospo community for the overwhelming display of generosity. This fund will help cover the outgoing costs that have been incurring over these past three weeks. We have realised that we can't do any of this alone and that our community is humungous. We love and appreciate the support we have received.
We have been informed that we are able to start operating.
đSpecial mention to the HOSPO FOR HOSPO community that is coming together to look after one another, not only in this instance to âhelp the quail fly againâ but to look after & grow the hospitality industry in a city we love. We are indeed a family thatâs pulling together through hardship to grow what we have.
Dear WhangÄrei / New Zealand
We are reaching out to you today to ask for your help in supporting one of WhangÄrei's most iconic and beloved businesses - Quail CafĂ©, owned by Lily Grau. As many of you may already know, Cyclone Gabrielle recently caused extensive damage to the WhangÄrei Quarry Gardens, which has unfortunately resulted in Quail CafĂ© not being able to operate safely at the gardens until the geotechnical reports are returned
Lily Grau and her team at Quail CafĂ© have been a vital part of the WhangÄrei hospitality community for many years. They have provided delicious food and warm hospitality. Now, more than ever, they need our help to get back on their feet.
