Fire fighters and medics wanting to represent their country at a world championship

The East Otago Road Crash Rescue (RCR) Team is a group of dedicated volunteer firefighters and medics from six brigades across East Otago, combining both career and volunteer personnel. Since forming in 2022, the team has rapidly risen through the ranks, winning regional titles and most recently taking out the 2024 UFBA National RCR Challenge.
Now officially accepted to represent New Zealand at the 2025 World Rescue Challenge in Croatia, the team is preparing to compete internationally. Two members, Jody and Will, will also take part in the trauma challenge.
