I am so excited to have received a Tennis NZ team jacket and shirt to wear while I represent NZ at the European and World Championships.
This is a great honor and I hope to do it justice.
I have received confirmation that I have been accepted into the main draw at the European Championships which are being held in Warsaw Poland September 15-20th ahead of the worlds in Italy, this is a really exciting opportunity and I can't wait to represent NZ at this event.
I've started walking everyday to increase my endurance to be ready to play multiple matches in one day, our matches are generally one set first to six games, in NSW my game against victorias Phoebe Jane lasted over an hour, it was epic, we had around half of the attendees cheering and watching our match.
This reiterated to me endurance training is key to success.
It is approximately 18,900 km to italy so I am tracking my km's trained and dollars raised and when I get to 18,900 I'll be ready to rumble
