Help to Save Sid

Long story short, we had to bury our dog Mawhero today. She was shot yesterday. Unfortunately when Mawhero got shot, Sid was in the way and got the brunt of the bird shot/buck shot of the bullet. His head is full of tiny shards of metal, however the vet has said that hopefully he can recover on his own without surgery. He is currently in the emergency vets in Hamilton, on Anglesea street. He is stable and on pain relief and a drip. We cannot take him to our vets in Te Kauwhata until Tuesday when they re open. So far we have spent 1,500 to have him there for 2 days. It will cost a minimum of $500 to keep him there until tomorrow night when we could bring him home and take him to our vets first thing Tuesdsay. I am able to provide proof by the vets with a written document and x-ray of Sids head.
