Help Ukrainian mother support her family after husband hospitalised in explosion

Please help my friend Vita Tkachenko with living costs, medical care and basic survival in Kharkiv, Ukraine, following the Russian invasion on the 24th of February 2022.

On the 5th of March, after more than a week of heavy bombing of the city, Vita, her husband Nikolai and their 2 sons made a desperate decision to flee for safety. While getting into the car, a rocket exploded nearby. Nikolai shielded their youngest 7 year old son with his body and got horribly injured. He now lays in hospital ICU with serious injuries, and the uncertainty of how long it could be until he can be with his wife and children again. Vita’s husband is a hero, he did what any parent would do and protected their child during a war.
