Any help would be amazing. Thank you
Hi everyone as you may have heard there is a missing kayaker that went missing off most point yesterday. He is the most amazing friend and has a partner who loves him dearly as well as family and friends. He was supposed to be home by mid day and wasn't back but his kayak was found by moa point, wellington where he went out. Everyone has been searching on and off land. We are starting a give a little to get a drone into the sky with thermal imaging however it is very windy. The search has included Defence Force and other helicopters, the Wellington Volunteer Coastguard, police launch the Lady Elizabeth IV, land searchers, and others. Our goal is to get an additional helicopter or drone up as soon as weather allows.
The drone is 400$ per hour plus call out fee and travel (I just received the official quote) So any help would be amazing to help bring him home at least. Thank you ❤
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police via 105 and quote event number P045173862.
The money will be spent on the search and to get the drones up and running. If for some reason the drone cannot fly, or we are unable to get it up in time donations will be used by Koyren's family, and in a worst case scenario for his funeral-related costs.
Trying to get a helicopter out today! 19 January 2021
Hi everyone just updating people. Thank you all for donating to find Koyren Campbell and bring him home. Family and friends can't thank you all enough. His family appreciate all the love and support ❤
We are working with trap and trigger ventures trying to get them up in the sky and flying with there thermal etc with the donations as well as drones. Obviously we have to wait for the weather to calm down a little bit as its way to windy and dangerous to fly. His family have been working with the police etc as well as search and rescue.
Thank you all so much again for all donating and the love and support; words cannot describe how thankful we all are.
