Please help us bring our Michael home

The heavens have called for an angel. On the morning of Sunday 13th of October we received the dreaded news no one wants to hear, the sudden passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin Michael Henare Capper.

For those that knew Michael, he was the kindest, most caring gentle giant you could meet. He had the most loving smile and would always greet you with a warm hug. He enjoyed having a laugh and being with those he loved, his family and friends. He was a beautiful soul, but unfortunately he was taken from us before his time.

Michael was living in Adelaide therefore the challenge of getting him home to New Zealand for a traditional farewell is something the family do need support with. Taking him home is a huge financial burden on the family, especially after loosing Michael's older sister to cancer only 5 months ago, therefore any type of help and support from Michael’s family and friends would be greatly appreciated

The cost of repatriating Michael back to New Zealand is within the vicinity of 15k-20k therefore we have set a target of 20k to raise and help get him home. This amount includes associated costs including the purchase of the casket, embalming, transportation, documentation, service costs and other costs associated with the funeral.

Any help large or small is so greatly appreciated, we thank you for helping us get our Michael home to lay beside his grandparents and family in Waitara, Taranaki.
