Help us raise funds to give our students the chance to come on Music Tour 2026.

Every year for the last 20 years I have been involved in running music tours at Edgewater College. We love taking our music out to the community, performing at primary schools and retirement centres in locations that don't always get the chance to hear live music from choirs, Jazz bands and small ensembles. Many of our students come from hardship so with a little help from you, you can make a huge difference for our students. I would love to give 80 students the opportunity to come away with us this year. Many of our students have never been out of Auckland so a trip like this is a memory that lasts. Can you help us raise funds to get our amazing young people on tour. Some of you reading this may have even been at EC over the last 20 years and Im sure if you came on one of our tours, you will have fond memories.

I have been a staff member of Edgewater College for coming up 20 years. The Music Department has been a home and safe space for so many people over the years. I am the HOD Music and I love our students. They bring life wherever they go.

Use of funds

The money raised will go towards paying for bus/van transport, food and accommodation while staying in Rotorua.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
