Help set up a safe special needs paddock for our much loved Moony Moo so that he has a chance for a good happy life 🐄❤
Northland
Our beautiful big boy Moony has just had surgery for cancerous growths spreading into his eye.
Unfortunately the growths started spreading extremely rapidly. Moony is recovering really well but the devastating news is that the cancer will recurr and there are already lesions on both eyes. This means he will need future surgeries to remove his eyes as they get affected.
The good news is that this type of cancer focuses on his eyes so, once they are removed, he could still have many happy years with his mama and friends if we can make safe paddocks for him that are set up to accommodate his special needs. As long as he has quality of life and isn't in pain, we want to give him the chance to live happy and free with us.
We currently don't have money in the account as we are still paying for other major fencing, building, fixing, vet bills, accessibility and drainage costs. So we really need your help to be able to create new spaces.
All funds will go towards Moony's care with the priority for now being to buy the materials needed for fencing to create safe areas for him, building a barn and shelters, setting up troughs for water access etc.
Moony is our beautiful neurodivergent Mookid who loves his mama with all his heart and is an incredibly special part of the whānau.
If anyone is able to help we would be incredibly grateful and every donation really does make a difference!
