Help us help our big brother beat cancer

Nelson

Our big brother Robert was diagnosed with a brain tumour called glioblastoma in February 2025.

He has been through two very successful brain surgeries to help remove the tumour, and will be going through both radiation and chemotherapy.

We are raising money to support Robert with immunotherapy treatment available in Germany called dendritic cell vaccine therapy and peptide vaccine therapy. These options are unfortunately not available in New Zealand.

Robert is otherwise a very fit and healthy 44 year old, who has always lead a very healthy lifestyle. He is the biggest brother to his four siblings, and has always taken care of us and his six nieces and nephews. We want to do everything we can to support him through this journey and get him back cycling, working, singing, traveling and spending time with his friends and family.

Thank you all for your love, prayers and support - every bit counts!

Use of funds

Unfunded immunotherapy in NZ (exact drug TBD), dendritic cell vaccine therapy and peptide vaccine therapy. International flights and accommodation costs. Funds will still be used towards vaccine therapy/ongoing medical care in nz even if goal not met.
