We flew into Auckland airport late this afternoon after an amazing 12 days in the Gold Coast! This holiday would never have been possible without each and every one of you ❤️

Caiden got to experience seeing the birds he loves the most flying out in the wild, the koalas and the kangaroos! He even got to hold a snake!! He experienced the wild life sanctuaries, the zoo, the theme parks, go fishing, and so much more! He is one very happy boy, and we are a very grateful happy family. Creating beautiful memories together as a family has filled our hearts with so much joy.

Caiden and Kaylee didn't want to come home... and neither did we. So we have promised them another holiday to the Gold Coast hopefully in a few months. We hope Caiden gets to experience the place he loves the most again 🙏 He wants to see Blueys World which is due to open in Queensland in November.... we would love to make that dream come true for him too 🥰

So from our family to yours.... Thank you for donating and helping our family get to the Gold Coast! Words can never express how grateful we truly are x

Just a quick update to let you all know how Caiden is doing.

He's super excited for his trip to Australia later this month thanks to everyone who has made his wish come true 🥰

When we return from our holiday in June Caiden is going to be starting a new drug. It's a medication that will target one of his cancer mutations, and hopefully help prolong his life. As part of the drug pre testing requirements Caiden has had to undergo blood tests and an echocardiogram on his heart. We were saddened to learn yesterday after his echocardiogram that Caiden has a blood clot in his heart that is most likely caused by the PICC line he had as part of his radiation treatment. We are so glad that this was picked up as blood clots can be fatal if left untreated.

Caiden started blood thinning medication today in hope that it will break down the clot and that there will be no serious blood clot issues going forward. We just hope his body tolerates the blood thinning medication and that the small brain bleed he has by his brain tumour doesn't increase in volume. We all feel very anxious.

This journey is always so up and down. But throughout it all Caiden continues to show cancer who is boss! Such a brave wee boy with the biggest heart.

    F**k Cancer!

    F**k DIPG!
