Please help us raise a bond so we can live in a safe environment. Our fire damaged home is no longer safe as asbestos has been confirmed.

Hi everyone, thanks for reading.

My partner and I have to move house by the 7th of January 2019 as we have had an electrical fire in our kitchen and there's asbestos exposed.

The fire completely destroyed our kitchen and smoke damage is throughout the house.

The tenancy tribunal has deemed it uninhabitable, and ordered us to move out by the 7th of Jan.

This means coming up with over $3000 in the space of only a few weeks, which, on one income and with bills still needing to be paid, this is impossible to do on our own.

Use of funds

The money will be spent on a bond for a rental. Any left over money will be donated to the SPCA, as our dogs were the ones who alerted us to the fire and saved our lives. And of course, because we love animals.
