Hamish and I have been writing scripts and shooting little films together for many years.
One of our feature film scripts has been selected to pitch and compete at one of the oldest, most respected, Academy Award qualifying, genre film festivals in the world; SITGES Cinema Fantastic de Catalunya. The festival has chosen SEVEN film projects worldwide to come pitch to a room full of international production companies and industry reps.
Travel funding sponsorship has unfortunately fallen through for us within conventional NZ film funding channels... eeeek
So we need your help getting Biz on a plane to Barcelona on October 2nd!
SITGES is dead serious about introducing these chosen filmmakers to the right people to get their films made.
Everything has led to this moment. Biz is ready to rock.

Hamish and I have put together SOME money for this last minute trip.. but it's not enough. So this Give A Little page is to cover what's left for 1 x return flight from New Zealand to Barcelona and three nights in a hotel.

Hi everyone!
It occurred to me that there are quite a few of you who I am not connected with on social media so I wanted to send out a quick note to everyone via the Givealittle page. For those of you who haven't heard, because of your support I not only made it to the Sitges film festival in Barcelona, but I ended up winning the award for best feature film pitch! No joke. It was all a bit mind blowing. After receiving the award I was approached by some well respected international production companies and sales agents and am now in continuing discussions with a few parties based out of the UK, the U.S. and Canada in regards to actually getting our feature film made. So I guess you could say it was, in every aspect, a total successful mission.
I would not have been able to do it without your support and Hamish and I thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity.
